Warmin Up

Does anyone else find that it's getting to be the perfect weather for cute summer outfits and longer play times at the park? I've been loving the weather lately and so has Sky. She loves to play outside and the poor girl will play in our backyard by herself for a long time! Good thing she'll have a permanent play mate soon.
Gee, I love her big blue eyes!

And the verdict is...

ANOTHER GIRL!!!
We are so excited! I really thought we were having another girl, but you can only be so sure ya know? I think that this baby and Sky will have a lot of fun together. Most of all, I'm so grateful that our precious little girl is growing healthy and that everything looks good so far. It's such a relief to see and hear the baby! I love being pregnant. I love the attachment you feel so fast and I'm so grateful Heavenly Father has allowed me to experience this once again. What I have learned though is that our babies are calm... maybe. This little girl wouldn't move for anything and Sky was the exact same way, so I have to go back and have another ultrasound in a couple weeks. Kinda cool, but kinda not. I think I will refuse to have any more ultrasounds before I'm 20weeks along, but then again, with Sky I WAS 20 weeks, so who knows. Anyway, we are thrilled! The pregnancy is going well, I'm feeling great now, and we're excited to meet this baby girl in June! :)

TN/GA Trip

On Friday we flew to Nashville for a sweet vacation! It was seriously so much fun! I couldn't believe how hard it was for me to leave Sky, but it was a wonderful break and it felt so nice to have so much time together! Our parents both took turns watching Sky and she definitely had a blast. We partied it up in Tennessee and Georgia! We ate good southern food, saw Bill Cosby in concert, visited with old friends, shopped, and travelled to Nashville, Sevierville, Chattanooga, and Atlanta. What a wonderful time it was!

About meeting Mr. Cosby: It was rather normal actually. ha. Some lady just took us into his dressing room and he was sitting on his couch in sweats, in the dark, watching a football game. It was so funny! He just sat and chatted with us for a half hour about life, school, and what not. He's a really cool guy and a lot like he is on tv! We also gave him a Book of Mormon and he was grateful for it. That was super fun!

And next time we go... yes, we will be the kiddos! People didn't want to let us in their house because Sky wasn't there! haha. She's already loved in the South. :)

2 Years!!! and some flashbacks. Sorry, but this WILL be cheesy

Austin and I just had our 2nd Anniversary yesterday!!! I'm not a fan of getting older, but marriage birthdays rock! We went on a date Saturday: did some sealings, got some food, and saw Tangled. It's so fun to do sealings and to try to remember your wedding day! Austin and I have been so blessed the last couple years. I guess time does go by quickly, but so much has happened that it only seems normal we've been married for 2yrs. We have been through a lot together, have grown tremendously, and our love continues to increase. I love being married! There is so much to live for and my man is the best. When Austin and I got engaged I would have never thought that in 2 yrs we would: buy a house, get called to EQ President and YM President, Have an adorable daughter, have to put Austin in the hospital, Lose a couple jobs, finish our bachelor degrees, Get pregnant again, and grow closer together than I imagined. Of course life is not perfect, but we have been so blessed with experiences that stretch us and allow us to learn together. I am so grateful for Austin and that I have him as a husband and father of our children. I can't imagine sharing my life with anyone else. He puts up with me rather well. :)

Have I ever shared our love story? Austin and I met in April 2008 at a young adult service project. We became REALLY good friends that summer and Austin fell in love me. I have to admit... I thought I had my life planned out and I wasn't wanting to get into anything serious. However, one day Austin didn't call or text me all day and I realized I had no choice but to date him. I couldn't stand not being around him! We started dating August 2008. Dating Austin was so much fun! We were always together and he planned the funnest things for us to do. A month later I headed back up to school at BYU-Idaho. When I left we planned that we would see each other next at conference and just take things how they were. I think I was gone maybe 2 or 3 days up at school when I decided I couldn't live without this boy. We decided to get married and got engaged October 3rd, 2008. Talk about a long engagement! Long, because we were apart! We finally got married January 9th, 2009, which was one of the funnest days ever! Yup, many people say it was fast, but when ya know, ya know right? We loved each other... and still do.

Bring on 2011!

On New Year's Eve we went bowling with some cousins: Trent and Kayla, and Jacob, Amanda, and Molly. It was really fun seeing them! Austin had fun trying to get Sky to bowl too. That night our friends, The Hunsakers, had a New Year's Eve party that we hit up! We had fun playing just dance and putting off some fireworks. This is the first New Year's Eve Austin and I have really spent together, so we had to get a kissing picture! Last year Sky was 2 weeks old and we were too tired to stay up (lame, i know) and the year before I was working (also lame, but necessary). Anyway, we're REALLY excited about 2011! We have made some awesome goals and have a lot to look forward to. This is going to be a great year!

And this is how we spent most of New Year's Day... being lazy. :)

Christmas Festivities

Our Christmas was spent with lots of family, as it should be. Austin and I both love Christmas!! We had a good holiday! Went to lots of family parties where Sky really enjoyed playing with lots of other kids. Christmas Eve we spent at Grandma Stewart's house and had the traditional pizza fondu. Then we went and saw Christmas lights. On Christmas morning we got up and openned our presents! Sky wasn't too into unwrapping presents, but she really liked pulling stuff out of her stocking. She got a backyard swing. Austin got a cowboy hat, a couple shirts, and a pair of jumping stilts, and I got a nice picture, some jewlery, and a cricket machine! We went over to Austin's parents to talk to Stewart, who comes home April 1st! (We're WAY excited!) We ate lunch at my parents that day and hung out. It was a nice, relaxing Christmas. I'm grateful for Christ's birth and to be able to focus on Him during the Christmas season.
