Halfway mark.
I'm half way done with this pregnancy! We're getting more and more excited. We've had a hard time with names though... Any good boy name suggestions?!! I like short, or at least be able to have a shortened nick name.
Truly at 15months
I don't even know where to start with this girl. She is such a goofball!! She loves to make other people laugh, especially Sky. I'm afraid she's going to grow up and be the class clown. She loves to tease Sky lately too... Pulling her hair, running away with her toys laughing, and splashing bath water in her face. She is such a character! Austin and I love it though! These girls bring us more joy than we ever imagined possible. We're constantly laughing at them! I love that Austin and I can have so much fun on date night, but so much fun as a family too. It's the best feeling. (Speaking of date night: if you're ever in Mesa go get Thai foot massages! $35 for an hr and I promise it WILL change your life. I'm forever indebted to Austin for finding this place for us)
So some Truly facts for you:
•obsessed with her blankie. I haven't even tried to take her binky away yet. Hopefully I get the nerve soon.
•LOVES shoes
•into babies and making barking and growling noises for every animal.
•moved to 1nap. Sleeps 12-3 in the afternoon and 6:30-6:30 at night.
•likes going to nursery (one of the benefits of being the primary 1st counselor!)
•says a handful of words, though she doesn't use them often. She's more into grunting
•can safely walk down the stairs
•always knows what she wants
•favorite book is "Mr. Brown Can Moo! Can You?"
•will not stay still for pictures
We love Truly! She brings the perfect humor and love to our family. I know we're meant for each other. I love noticing the different qualities both Sky and Truly bring to our family. Truly definitely has her dad's easy going personality, which I need a lot of. Plus, I'm just not that funny!

Little Vegas Trip
So, we took a short trip to Vegas to see Austin's brother, Stewart, race in the championship ironman triathlon. Turns out he's pretty much superman. You can check out triordie.org- a website dedicated to him and his team.
The only downer is that this trip turned out to be not the greatest. We had a good trip up the first day, but Saturday was long, and Sunday morning we realized Sky had caught hand, foot, mouth disease. And then it clicked, "no wonder the girl's have been way more whiny and tired than usual!" We couldn't even stay for the whole race, because we had to get them home. It was a bummer... We were so excited to go and spend more time with the whole Adair clan. Our life has been so so busy- Really good, but busy, and we do not get to spend as much time with the family as we would like.
We had a few good laughs though and made a couple memories.
We made it home to get the girl's in better shape. Luckily, Sky never got any sores in her mouth. She really didn't get it too bad. And Truly's case was pretty much nonexistent thanks to some homeopathic remedies.
To say the least, we're looking forward to our next family vacay, whenever that may be. :)

We found out
WE'RE HAVING A BOY!!!!
I'm so so so excited! It's going to be a whole new experience, but I believe I'm ready for a little man in my life. Neither Austin or I have really cared about not having a boy, but it feels like the perfect timing. Heavenly Father knows me all too well. I really think having my girls first will be such a blessing to me. Sky is already such a big helper! She does chores even: sets the table, unloads the dishwasher, makes her bed, and picks up toys. The girl seriously amazes me and she's only 2. I know Truly will be just as helpful. This little boy is going to be loved so much by these girls! We are so excited for him to join our family! And I'm still getting used to the thought of being a boy mom too. ;)
The ultrasound was so fun. It was the first time I've seen 4D. He is measuring exactly on schedule to be due February 9th. Everything is looking perfectly healthy, which is what I'm most grateful for. It's amazing how much detail you can see in a 1/2lb baby.
And probably the only time we'll show off his goods... I saw before she told us. Ha!

Sedona Trip
Austin and I were able to take a short trip to Sedona the day after his birthday. (26!) It was a much needed get-away!! We had so much fun relaxing and enjoying each other. We could have stayed longer. We stayed in this cute bed and breakfast. It was adorable and the food was fantastic! I love my husband. I'm grateful we're able to do things like this. With having babies and being pregnant it gets hard to plan trips together, but it always feels great to make each other a priority.
