10 is a big number
10 months sounds a whole lot older than 9 months. The toddler years are approaching fast! Sky is very active these days. Not walking, but I believe that she could. She was the same with crawling. I guess it's a good characteristic to be cautious of new things. Sky will eat anything you put in front of her. She has very good eating habits and has never spit anything out! Serious. It's crazy. She still sleeps 11-12hrs at night and takes 2 naps a day. She dropped a snack time the past couple weeks and only eats 4 times a day now. She almost weighs 18lds. She is done nursing as of the past couple weeks as well. It's so fun watching her learn. Things seem to be clicking for her a lot more recently. She points at everything. has put my phone up to her ear a couple times, and has started to break out some dance moves. It's so cute! We just love her.

Going Private
Hey friends, lately I've been putting some pics and info on the blog that are more for personal use than to update the whole world... if you know what I mean.
Basically, I'll need your e-mail if you want an invitation to stalk us. Thanks :)
Utah Trip
At the end of last month we took a trip to Utah. We went up before conference and stayed to watch it. We were excited to spend more time in Utah than just a couple days! We had so much fun seeing friends and relaxing as a family. Sky did good on the trip seeing that we mostly drove at night. We had tons of fun and made great memories. Love trips! Thanks to everyone who let us crash at their place... Rick and Alexis, Annie and Spencer, Zac and Carla... thanks mucho amigos! We love you!

Time with Skylin
Skylin is SO much fun these days. We PLAY PLAY PLAY! It is her favorite thing to do! She'll play with anyone anywhere. She is always full of smiles, laughs, and is very friendly to strangers. This girl boosts my self esteem! She is constantly laughing at me throughout the day. Don't know what I'd do without her. Her favorite game to play is chase. You know when she wants to play because she'll look at me with a grin and start to crawl the other direction. It's so funny! When I chase her she laughs uncontrollably! She loves doing things she knows is naughty aka climbing the stairs. She can climb up all the stairs now! She also LOVES Bathtime! Being her mom is so much fun!

Hospital Experience
A couple of weeks ago Austin was in the hospital. It was just a couple days, but it sure was a LONG 2 days. We went to the ER one night and ended up being there all night long. Austin didn't end up getting his own room until 6:30am. Apparantly Austin had pneumomediastinum, which means there was a hole in his lung that was leaking air into the cavities in his chest... like around his heart & stuff. It was SUPER random and there isn't much info on it. There was no way to tell how it happened either. The only symptom Austin had was that he was having a difficult time breathing and felt like something was stuck in his throat. Gratefully he didn't have to have surgery. He's healthy and young enough that it was able to heal on its own.
Having a family member in the hospital is stressful and tiring. I am not a fan. I'm glad my first experience wasn't too crazy. We're lucky enough to have friends and family that were able to watch Sky for us a lot. (Thanks mom and Bauers.) It was extremely sad to not be with Sky for most of the days and then ultra sad to leave Austin at night. I'm thinking my time with the hospital is retired.... except when having babies. *cross fingers*
