Scorpion Hunting

This past weekend we went scorpion hunting with a whole group of people! We had an official tour guide and everything. There's this national park like a mile away from our home and they do some cool stuff! It was fun and kind of crazy how many we found! The little boys were really into it! On the downside though, Austin is now extremely afraid to walk near rocks.... ha.

Daddy Day

Shout out to my wonderful husband for being such a great daddy! It was his first official father's day for the rest of forever. I made him a frame to have at work and he got breakfast in bed, which he enjoyed, but it was kinda hard to eat so early. ha. Austin is a great dad. I'm so grateful for his patience, love, and support. I don't think being a parent would be as amazing as it is if he didn't love it as much as I do! Thanks for being such a great daddy to Sky love! Thanks for working so hard to let me stay home with her! You're the best and we love you!

A Whole Half Year

Sky turned six months old last week! It feels like she's been around forever, but it is definitely hitting that she won't be a baby for much longer. She has got some personality. We have so much fun together.

Her stats:

14lds, 8oz (20th percentile)

25 1/4 in. (40th percentile)

I love me little girl! She will still cuddle with me and I love it so much.
Sky meeting a chinchilla. I'm always afraid she's going to really hurt an animal.

To date Sky has had rice cereal, sweet potatoes, and green beans. She started eating vegetables when she turned 6months. She really likes it! I am having fun so far making her baby food. It makes me feel so... domestic. Probably because I'm so... not.

Sky can sit up by herself now. It makes her happy. It's fun to be able to put her in the cart now too!

In the past couple weeks Sky has started sticking her toungue out a lot. I think it's really funny!

She is still happy as ever and we love her to pieces!

Fossil Springs/Cabin Trip

We had an extremely awesome cabin trip the past couple days! Our friends Jenny and Dawson, and Gigi, Dan, and their 2 kids came with us. We had a blast! Ate some good food, lounged around, played lots of games, and went to Fossil Springs for some good time and sunburns.

We also laughed A LOT!

Sky enjoyed sleeping with mommy and daddy.
It was surprisingly hot, so we loved the water.

Some people were brave enough to do the rope swing.
